What's to rebut? You made a claim - "No liberal today subscribe[s] to a system in which the prices for goods and services are determined by the open market and consumers" - that has been thoroughly refuted throughout this thread. The only thing to do at this point is laugh that you actually made such a ludicrous statement.

No it has not.  I said "No liberal Today"  now refute that.

B.S. Demos.  You have not read the thread as evidence of you putting a stupid source about liberalism on this thread that had nothing to do with the conversation.  You are so full of shit that you stink.  Liberals of today are for trade regulations which is not the same as free trade.

You've been given names of people who are liberals in the modern world who take the classical view.

Ergo your claim that liberals today are all leftists has been empirically falsified and refuted.

And you will have nothing to say one the matter.

This entire thread has been about the difference between liberalism and leftism.

Indeed the link Demos provided was the final nail in the coffin for your argument. His link was completely on topic. After reading it even you had to admit there is a difference between classical liberalism and welfare lefty liberalism.

Yes, left liberals today do support trade regulations, such as Bernie Sanders.

That's another reason to suggest that leftism and classical liberalism are very, very different things. Thanks for making our point for us. Grin
