For the life of me I can't understand why we aren't passing out more birth control rather than less of it. Nothing else yields the return on investment as much as does the distribution of birth control to people who would otherwise populate the planet with more people who are unwilling or unable to fend for and provide for themselves.

It is a personal choice and should not be dictated by someone else's beliefs.

Who is dictating this choice for anyone?

Who is dictating this choice for anyone?

The people who will not offer insurance that includes birth control pills.

Not even Brawny either. More like the generic paper towels you buy as a last resort at the gas station.  Grin Grin

So anything that an employer decides not to include in their benefit package is an act of dictating someone's choice?

If they don't include payment for filtered or bottled water in their plan, are they dictating your choice with regard to water?

If they don't include payment for spinach and carrots in their plan, are they dictating your choice with regard to healthy food?

This logic is ridiculous.

If a plague is wiping out a population, handing out medicine to stop it is the best and in the long run least costly solution to the problem.
Whether or not it is "free" hardly matters in that scenario and it hardly matters when it comes to distributing birth control now to haed off costs and problems later. It is the intelligent thing to do regardless of ideology as it pays the biggest dividends per dollar invested.

I find it telling that you speak about stopping a plague in the middle of a discussion about birth control, considering we just recently found out that you believe darker skinned people are genetically inferior.

You seem to be blowing dogwhistles through a bullhorn.

The real issue is where was this ever part of the federal government's mandate in the Constitution?  It is not for the government to dictate our insurance policy, that is between the citizens and the company but we have a lot of marxist/socialist/communist on this forum who will try and make the case.  Not understanding the difference between a Republic and everything else.

"Without morals a republic cannot subsist any length of time; they therefore who are decrying the Christian religion, whose morality is so sublime and pure (and) which insures to the good eternal happiness, are undermining the solid foundation of morals, the best security for the duration of free governments."

Grin your logic is ridiculous in that unless you are real stupid, you would know that carrots, spinach and bottled water is not included in health insurance plans.

As usual, the point sails about 10 feet over you head.

Yes, these things are not included in health insurance plans. But no one would seriously claim they were being deprived of them, as a result of them not being included in their health insurance plans.

Come on, Wads. Think!

Engage that brain.

You can do it!

Like I said. 10 feet over your head.

If you were consistent you would have to say you were deprived of everything not covered in your health care plan.

Of course a little logic and consistency is way too much to ask for.
