Hmmm, did he or didn't he?   You decide.  Evidently her parents told her to be proud that she was dating him.  Dating is their word, not mine.

The whole presumption of innocence until proven guilty is something the left seems to have conveniently put aside when it serves their purpose.  Of course we wait and see what happens, to do otherwise would be akin to a lynch mob would it not?   The fact that all someone has to do is accuse and a persons life is ruined should be something we all should fight against.

I think he did, and dating sounds like the right word in this case to me.  While I find it creepy that a man that old would want to date a high school student, he wasn't breaking new ground.  And she said they only kissed twice.  If he's a sexual predator, I wish all sexual predators were just like he is.

I wonder if he regrets running for the senate now.  If I were he, I probably would.

I think a lot of the right have set it aside, too, at least in this case.

But the presumption of innocence is a legal term and only applies in actions at law.  I don't think this has ruined the Judge's life, but it may well cost him a Senate seat.

But... but... she was innocent and never proven guilty of anything...

Never... Didn't she deserve a fair shake?

Seems a pretty apt comparison to me.

Age of consent is 16 in Alabama.  It's very possible (if she isn't lying about anything) that he really didn't know how old she was at the time.

That being said it's still creepy as crappity smack for a thirty something year old man to be dating teenagers.
