The Left is all atwitter about the rights of new gendered species created by scientific advances allowing for the choice individuals to change their gender based upon how they self identify.

They are not so quick to examine scientific advancements which allow us to look into the womb and decide with far more clarity when a child is in fact a human being who is deserving of his/her own civil rights protections.

Criminal Statue has long accepted that when someone skills a mother who is pregnant that the murder can be charged with two counts of murder; one for killing the mother and one for killing the mother's baby in the mother's womb.

In Whole Women’s Health v Ken Paxton, the former argued they shouldn’t have to kill the baby — or cause “fetal demise” as they put it — before dismembering it in its mother’s womb, and the state argued that they should, because it’s only humane. While other states have dealt with this issue before, none others have actually gone to trial

This court case has the potential of winding its  way up to the Supreme Court and establishing a body of up to date scientific evidence which the SCOC will have to examine as it reconsiders the constitutionality of Roe v Wade.  The Libs can't ignore it then!

If the case is well constructed, then the Libs on the SCOTUS are going to be very hard pressed in attempting to find against the civil rights of the unborn children.  The Court may set a line where a human being is a tadpole and when such tadpole becomes human and is subject to the equal protections provided by the fourteenth amendment.  So far, these babies are not considered to be "persons".  In this regard Roe v Wade is reminiscent of the Dred Scott Decision, which did not recognize Black Slaves  as "persons"deserving of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

Dred Scott was also a leftard decision.

Quote:
Dred Scott Decision summary: Dred Scott was a slave who sought his freedom through the American legal system. The 1857 decision by the United States Supreme Court in the Dred Scott case denied his plea, determining that no Negro, the term then used to describe anyone with African blood, was or could ever be a citizen. The decision also invalidated the Missouri Compromise of 1820, which had placed restrictions on slavery in certain U.S. territories. Northern abolitionists were outraged. The Dred Scott case became a rallying point for them and contributed to the election of Abraham Lincoln as president in 1860

This is not an end run.  It is a full frontal assault against this unconstitutional decision. (Roe v Wade) which chose to decide in favor of the woman who brought this case, who later became an anti-abortion advocate.  It was an ill conceived political compromised which tried to justify its action by the scientific research of that time.

43 years later, a look at Norma McCorvey, the Roe of Roe v. Wade, the pro-choice poster child turned abortion opponent
