Remember the Rolling Stone's FAKE NEWS about the college campus sexual assault allegations and the successful lawsuit against them.  Although the Reporter admitted she made up the story, including accusing specific individual male students, Rolling Stone continued to push the sexual assault on campus narrative, even after this "reporters" admission.

Rolling Stone is now going under!  I guess we shall see, what we see, when we see it!  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Yup.  Still waiting on the Donald, but maybe the Judge will actually do it.

His willingness to take this matter to court says a lot about the validity of the story.

Republicans are running away from this guy like he has ebola!

Who knows what the truth is.  Recent history has shown that while some similar politically charged accusations have proven to be spot on, many others have been nothing but Lies which have been fabricated solely to defame a candidate or promote a political message.
(FAKE NEWS).

You and I have no way of knowing what the truth is.¬† A court may have a far better chance of sorting out the truth from the lies, since their are penalties for lying under oath.  Whenever someone is unwilling to sue for Libel in such situation, it makes one wonder why not?

And why, having indicated a willingness to do so, he didn't.  You know of whom I speak.

No it doesn't. He is doing it for show before the election. He will drop it after. There is already an ex-coworker of his saying he chased high school girls during the time in question, hanging out in malls and highschool football games. He won't win.

Of course you are assuming he will drop it, I do not.  These allegations cropping up just before the vote has a distinct pattern we have witnessed for decades.  I have doubts and suspect that this is a smear campaign then it is about the truth and we can cite multiple times the Dems were willing to lie to affect the campaign of those they did not want in office, ie. Reid about Romney.

Donald Trump is the President of the United States.  It would be historic to see any President step down from their High Office and trivialize their Presidency by exercising their individual civil right to redress of torts committed against him during the course of an election.  It have never been done before, even though I'm sure throughout history President's have had just cause to take people to court for their wrongful acts.  Untruths and slander have been the fodder of many a political campaign.  Presidents have had to ignore them and get on with conducting the nation's business.

Unlike Presidents, politicians of lower rank often use the law to settle disputes.  When dueling was a legal form of redress, Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr did jsut that!
