New accuser steps forward in Roy Moore case

A new accuser of Republican senate candidate Roy Moore is stepping forward on Monday with allegations that Moore assaulted her when she was a minor in Alabama.

Famed women's rights attorney Gloria Allred will be holding a press conference in New York City with the woman to announce the accusations, who "wishes to state what she alleges Roy Moore did to her without her consent" according to a press release from Allred.

Moore has since condemned allegations, first reported in the Washington Post, that he assaulted a 14-year-old girl when he was 32 years old as "fake news."

He also has pledged to sue the Post for its reporting, as several U.S. GOP senators, including Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, are calling for him to drop his candidacy.

So now the Moore supporters will be demanding fluid evidence and such. Either way, Moore's a piece of shit. Nice job supporting the pedo just because you like his politics.

Shouldn't someone who claims that a wrong was done prove that claim before we accept it as true?

What proof do you want? Videos? Hermetically sealed bags with soiled underwear? How do you prove it beyond the accumulation of multiple victims coming forward? What you are saying has the veneer of fairness, but the issue is it uses that to hide behind the fact you create an impossible task for victims who were molested decades ago when they were young teens. And in a small southern town by a guy with substantial ability to wreak havoc on them and their lives. You create a situation where the victims CANNOT WIN, by demanding hard evidence. If it was a single person, I would say yes, you have to be careful. But you have multiple women AND you have one of Moore's old co-workers now saying he stalked high school girls. At what point does the totality of victims coming forward and circumstantial evidence equate to it being best if the guy doesn't run for this office?

Your post illustrates perfectly why we have the presumption of innocence.

Those jumping on the bandwagon to lynch Judge Moore over the mere allegations of wrongdoing don't seem to have anything to say about the Democrat candidate who's just been arrested for stalking.  Silence is consent!

For criminal prosecution? Yes. For a guy running for office? He needs to step aside.

So a Dem doing something bad justifies your embrace of a pedophile?  Huh

You would also say that Bill Clinton should have resigned, right?
