I'm a retired don't give a shit who wins.

I am sure when football is over with, they will all party with each other.  That they all made money and the fans lost as always.

I don't give a shit what they do with their money, knees, hands across the wives face, or their parties. I want my team to "WIN"

The vikings have been lucky a couple of games this year and I myself picked Atlanta because I have a hunch their luck will run out in Atlanta.

I watch all there games, and its not luck
They arent blowing anyone away, but are winning
Apparently they got "Lucky" again!
So, the Saints are just lucky too?

If the Vikings are Lucky, they lost there 2 starting QBs and there star running back. Thats Luck?

Its the coaching IMO thats got them this far 8 in a row!!!!!!!!!SKOL!!!!

I think the Seahawks are more than capable of beating the Eagles

I think they are over rated

The results so far:

Bert - 12
Josie - 12
Abe - 11
Jasmine - 11
RWB - 11
Zephyr - 11
JohnnyB - 10
Walkstall - 10
Admin - 9

Bert and Josie are tied for the lead at 12. Both pick Pittsburgh tomorrow.

RWB, Z-Man, Abe and me all picked Pittsburgh, too. So we are out of it. I have amended our rule so that we cannot change picks this late in the weekend.

Please check your score and let me know if I made any errors.

It will be Bert vs Josie via tie-breaker!  Smiley

I propose we allow no picks or changes after Thursday, period!  I actually don't see any difference between changing a pick let's say this morning for tonight's game than making a pick after a game starts or missing a Thursday game and waiting for injury reports and changing picks on Sat or noon Sunday.

For some it is a game and it is... but some of us here are very competitive. Think Zephyr, Bert and myself...etc., etc.

Why shouldn't I or anyone be allowed to use an honest strategy for example, and just as an example... be allowed to change my pick for tonight and be able to switch and possibly win?

No different than making a change any other time as long as it well in advance of the start.

In fact when you miss the Thursday game either you are out or it you lose a point.

It's not cheating if a game didn't start yet. No difference than waiting for the stats on injuries and starts and not posting you picks.

Perhaps some want to change their pick tonight in order to pick up another point. I see nothing wrong. If you can't change your pick on Monday morning prior to kickoff and you miss a Thursday game you have an advantage. Also if you play the Thursday game and you want to revise your picks Sunday morning before game time...no different than changing it before Monday's game start.

Something to think about. I propose that you can change anything you want as long as a game doesn't start OR you get you picks in by Thursday. Miss Thursday, either -1 is what you start with you are out.

Perfect example and yes it's me. I could and should be able to use a strategy of flipping my pick tonight to Cinnci and thereby possibly win. Nothing dishonest there...just using one's head.

Probably still lose but at least a person can try.

Four of us have 11 and 2 have 12, what's so wrong with saying, if we all want to change our picks for tonight so what, why hand the win to 2 people who now don't really have to compete tonight when 4 people are one point behind with a chance to tie or win?

How many times did it get down to Monday and a person maybe could have tied or won if they flipped their pick? ...again a perfectly honest and fair strategy. No different than missing Thursday, being allowed to play and then waiting to they know the injuries and if a QB may or may not play.

I may be a game but a game I'm sure we all want to win. Wink
Cinci will likely win tonight anyway but you never know.

I'm curious to hear from the 3 others here who might tie or win if they changed their pick this morning. (like I said, not likely in this case Cinci will win but it gives people more chances.

Why should it be all locked up as of Sunday night when a simple change tonight any or may not alter the week's result?

Not to single anyone out why can you make a pick on Thursday after a game starts merely because it's zero to zero...but you can't change tonight's choice when that game didn't start.

I stand by the fact that it is not unethical or cheating....the game didn't start folks and the objective is to win without cheating. Make a case that what I propose is actually cheating and not a smart strategy

Why are we handing a win to 1 out of 2 people when 4 people are behind and can still win? Cheesy
