Hell no they wouldn't. The only reason they are calling for Franken and Conyers to resign is because their seats are safe for Dems... notice they aren't calling for Menendez to resign as his seat could have gone to a Republican.
This is all for show. The Democrats want Moores seat so badly they are willing to throw Franken and Conyers under the bus so they can claim the moral high ground and hopefully shame R's into throwing Moore under the bus.

Personally I think the Republicans would be foolish to ditch Moore at this point. What should be done is they should fight for him to win then have an investigation on him if he does win... it would be retarded to hand the Dems a seat and it would be an awful precedent to set that women can wait till one month before an election to come out with accusations and a man automatically is considered guilty w/o any investigation... if that is allowed to happen, Republicans will never win an election again as Democrats will simply go looking for willing women to accuse their opponents.

If/When Judge Moore becomes a sitting US Senator, then if the accusations hold water, he should be run out of office.  However, one first must be elected to office before one can be run out of it!  Until then, it's really an issue for the voters of Alabama to decide.

Citizens of other states have no business in trying to dictate who any state's Senators or House members ought to be.  Opinions are like assholes; everyone's got one.  Ultimately, our opinion only matters when they occupy a seat in our Government!

Highly unlikely.  "Party before country" applies to both of them to a large extent.

I don't think the citizens are trying to dictate anything.  They're sharing opinions.  And while opinions are like assholes in one respect, they aren't in at least one: it's okay to share opinions.

- for what? - democrats scandal to use the justice system to smear Trump? - and cover up Hillarys crimes?
- its Democrats that need to resign and be charged

The topic is groping, sexual assault, etc.  I'm not talking about "this Russia thing".  If republicans are calling for Conyers and Franken to resign, why not Trump for the same reasons?

Because Trump has not admitted to anything.  And it's not just 'pubs calling for Conyers and Franken to resign.  Dems are, too.

Conyers is too danged old to be in Congress anyway. And Franken has taken responsibility for his actions.  Trump never has and never will.

And lastly, partisanship, like justice, is blind.  Unlike the blindness of justice, though, the blindness of partisanship is not a good thing.

The topic of this particular thread is that some female DEMOCRAT Senators have said that Franken needs to go!

I haven't heard any Republicans in the House or the Senate call for the resident to go.

As a matter of fact, Rep. Al Greene's feeble attempt for Impeachment failed miserably..just today!

I guess we'll see what Gloria Alrad is able to accomplish, as far as Trump's Accusers.

You are accusing democrats of cynical political expediency, and then you advise republicans to take the course of cynical political expediency.

Just for giggles, Alabama voters could decide it's more important to do what is right than to do what is politically expedient.

They could decide that Moore's accusers, the body of evidence that's out there, the corroborating witnesses, and his questionable responses, are all enough to confirm that he did indeed date teens while he was in his 30s.  And they could decide that this is unacceptable, even if it was legal.
