Occam's razor and the Trump Doctrine.

Occam's razor is the principle that often the correct answer is the most obvious one and the first thing that comes to mind.  Human beings tend to overthink problems by examining each and every aspect of each and every situation.  Government and bureaucracies are especially adept at overthinking and groupthink and building a consensus opinion (so no one individual may be held accountable if/when things go wrong.

Donald Trump  has proven his aptitude as a Business Leader making decisions and deals based upon the principle of Occam's razor.  Most successful people in business, follow this same model, as a matter of fact.

This Leadership style is so different from what we have become accustomed to in politics and the way our government is run, that at times many must think that our President has lost his mind.   This perssimistic group think is akin to the naysayers telling the Wright Brothers..."that thing will never get off the ground"!

President Trump is attempting to change the culture of Washington and our entire government.  It remains to be seen if he can make an elephant fly or if he is the Dumbo that so many think him to be for what he is doing and the way he conducts himself!

I think the motto is less like Occam's Razor and more like a Geico commercial: So easy a caveman could do it.

Most kids grow up hearing that anyone can grow up to be President. Think we've taken it a little bit overboard. Education and intellectual curiosity used to be something we strived for. Now it's made fun of and sneered at.

Going on your last three, presumably the likely next President is a Kenyan with a millionaire Dad.

Should it be complicated? Shouldn't a caveman be able to understand it? What does complicating an issue serve?

Why would one complicate an issue if complicating an issue would not serve one's needs?

Many years ago, I learned there are significant differences between Managers and Leaders.

Managers want to do things right.  They study policy and procedures and best practices and hone their skills doing things exactly as they are supposed to be done.  Without good managers we have chaos. The Hallmark of a good manager is "Always cover your Ass"!

Leaders want to do the right thing!  Sometimes this means thinking outside the box and daring to fly without a net!  Without good Leaders, there is no innovation.

Great Leaders are those who can develop and utilize great managers!
