Christians?

I genuinely don’t understand where they’d be coming from there....

There’s much to criticise in Christianity but unlike many religions it doesn’t make too many rules up about food and drink.

Does it? Apart from Deuteronomy?

Secularist?  I have a problem understanding how we can not see a child as a human being in the womb.  We can argue the laws regarding mankind but I am more concern about how God views this, not how mankind views this.

Apparently as are most alleged "pro-lifers."  Their "abortion is murder" stand does not follow them into the courtroom.

It should first start with changing the view that it is not life first.

At the risk of beating a dead horse, it MIGHT be that alleged pro-choicers would be more convinced that certain alleged pro-lifers really believe what they say when they say "ABORTION IS MURDER!" if they didn't check that belief at the courtroom door.

It starts with educating the public what life is, afterall PP is making in roads in our public education indoctrinating our youth.

I think it starts with putting your money where your mouth is.  Alleged pro-lifers don't seem to be willing to do that.

Money into what specifically?  Let’s do away with the term pro-lifers and get real specific... Christians.

Okay.  It would be good, IMO, if Christians who really believe abortion is murder would carry that belief into the ballot box and the courtroom.  How's that?

I agree and not JUST the ballot box but in our schools AND behind the pulpit.

Lead the charge. Let me know how it goes.  I get blank stares mostly.

100% of the alleged pro-lifers with whom I have broached this subject would be perfectly content with a return to pre Roe vs
Wade status of abortion, and are surprised when I point out to them that, while illegal, it was not murder and was seldom prosecuted.  And when it WAS prosecuted, it was not prosecuted very strongly.

One even told me "I DON'T CARE WHAT THE PENALTY IS!  I JUST WANT THE KILLING TO STOP!"

And the emphasis was hers, not mine.

And KNOW this: if there is not an exception for rape, you aren't going to change a thing.

Good luck.
