The National Rifle Association filed a federal lawsuit on Friday seeking to overturn a new Florida law that imposes a 21-year-old age limit and three-day waiting period on all gun purchases, saying the move violated Americans’ constitutional rights.

Didn't someone here say that the NRA was not a political organization??????

My opinion: The NRA should lose this suit, and then go crappity smack itself.

It does not seem right to me, that if we had a draft, 18 year olds were old enough to be drafted, given guns and their lives put in danger. But if a young 18 year old wants to buy a rifle, to hunt with his dad, he can’t. A rifle is a rifle. Many are semi auto, and so are shotguns and most modern pistols. It is stupid to make laws that will only make the good and honest people’s lives harder to enjoy. The criminal will not care. The insane will not care, so all good people must suffer. I like Governor Scott. He is making a mistake here. But I would still want him for Governor. We all make mistakes. Democrats do it on purpose.

NRA sued to block Florida's new gun law hours after it was passed - Vox

11 hours ago - The NRA on Friday filed a lawsuit in the Northern District of Florida contending that the new Florida law violates the Second and Fourteenth Amendments of the United States Constitution. The Second Amendment is the right to bear arms, and the Fourteenth Amendment guarantees equal protection.
