The more I think about it, the more I think that a college education is a big scam. No matter what degree you seek, they make you take boring “core” courses that you have no interest in or have little practical value in your life. If you could only take classes that you are majoring in, college would be a lot faster and cheaper.

And we all would be more biased than we are now, if possible.  Since when was the goal of higher education to be fast and cheap?  BTW, I heard your argument when I went to college eons ago.  You'll hear it eons from now, probably.

If they plan to attend starting Fall 2018, they're too late.  But high school juniors should begin the process.

Tell any people you know in that age group the following:

- No basket-weaving majors.

Best to pick from the following majors:

- Business admin
- Electrical engineering, specializing in robotics or AI
- Chinese language
- Biochemistry

Stay away from sw engineering.

- White guys should put down African ancestry on their application.  If they put down the dreaded white heterosexual male, they'll have an unnecessary uphill battle.

Right on!

Not only will they end up in student debt loans .... they will go on and pay for the other 40% + of Americans that pay NO Fed income tax

What a deal! Wink

The point of college is to equip yourself with the skills and knowledge to make money in your chosen career. Eliminate the lame core classes that have nothing to do with your major, and your time in college would be cut in half. That’s less money spent, and more time to make money in your profession.

Yes, I heard about this. Just goes to show McLame’s true loyalties. Hopefully, Trump won’t go to his funeral very, very soon.

Actually a person will make more money in the skilled trades. How many college grads are flipping burgers, with a huge student loan debt?

Math. Biology. History. General Science. American Studies. Geography. Etc., etc.

If I'm a fashion major, why do I need to take any of those?
