IMHO this whole thing has been blown way out of proportion. It's taking racism to a new low.

Are you talking about using her supposed multi-race heritage to help her get elected to office?

I think your belief that this example here is somehow "taking racism to a new low", in a country that has had slavery based on race and currently incarcerates black men at a far higher rate than white men for the same crime, is blowing something "way out of proportion".

Please spell out for me what is taking "racism to a new low" here. I really want to see you put some details behind that idea.

You're taking pointless quibbling to a new low.

Yes. I know I have an issue with actually expecting people to use words in the way that they are defined.

Like "violence", and "new low", and "assault", and "racist". I do not wish to allow snowflakes and cucks to redefine words and ignore all of history with their hyperbole.

It's a flaw that I have.

Ok, it may not have been a "new" low, but it definitely was a low.

In what way?

In what way does it put one race above another?

In what way does it condone a hierarchy of races?

In what way is it derogatory towards a particular race (or subrace, or ethnic group, or whatever you prefer) of people?

And if you can't answer that, then how could this be a "new low" for racism?

How is trump calling her "Pocahontas" not derogatory and insulting and RACIST?

I mean if trump called ANYONE "Wetback" for example, for WHATEVER reason, people would say it's racism.

But "Pocahontas" somehow is OK? How could it possibly be OK?

I don't know how it is racist. How does it demean Native American people? If somebody claimed to be Hispanic who actually was not, I might call that person a recognizable Hispanic name as a joke. In no way does that necessitate me thinking that Hispanics are on a different level of capability than other races.

Talk about false equivalency! Is "Pocahontas" a derogatory term for Native American people? Why? Was she considered a bad person or something?

Quite the opposite.

It would be as if you claimed to be Italian and I called you Caesar or Galileo.

I don't know how it's not. She's the one who claimed descent from Native Americans. He doesn't believe her, so he's making fun of her, not Native Americans.

Native American leaders have objected to Trump's use of the name Pocahontas as an insult.

Well then there you go! It must be racist!

Because "Native American leaders" don't like it, it must be racist!
