Try clicking on a link once in a while.

The quotes are ranked "from least problematic to most problematic for Trump".

And, in fact, the CNN author, Chris Cizilla, agrees that #11 is petty and no big deal. But it IS entertaining.

I understand the quotes were ranked. Even a casual reading of my post should make that clear.

I will restate my post a different way.

Given that the book is (I assume) longer than eleven lines, the title of this thread says that everything that is not lines ten through one is less eye-opening than number eleven, a line about his appearance. That would be hundreds of pages of less consequential material.

You point out that the author wasn't really taking number eleven seriously.

Now, I'll let you decide how serious you think I was.

I don't know that it is TMZ "clickbait gossip". There is no indication in the linked article that it came from TMZ. Do you have a link that shows otherwise? If not, please stop wasting everybody's time with false accusations.

/facepalm

Could this go further over your head?

It didn't come from TMZ.  I never suggested it did.

It came from CNN.   I never suggested otherwise.

THAT ... is the problem.

I always assume you are as serious as a cartoon rabbit pretending to lead an orchestra.

The problem is that you can't write worth shit.

Here is what you wrote:

Can you take a stab at explaining why CNN's digital editor at large is publishing clickbait TMZ gossip?

Now, a literal reading of that is that the CNN editor published TMZ material.

Please excuse me for taking anything you write literally.

In future I'll just assume you have no point whatsoever.

It was obvious to anyone following the conversation that he wasn't saying CNN was publishing TMZ's material.

Notice how you avoid addressing CNN publishing gossipy clickbait?  Again?

Ulysses is just trying to dodge the question.  He knows full well TMZ was used as an adjective and "gossip" was the noun in my question.

He just doesn't want to have to defend it.  It's easier to pretend that was my first post addressing it and not the third.  And he doesn't want to have to acknowledge that this is what "The Most Trusted Name in News" has come to in their efforts to drive ratings and profit margins.

I guess I made a mistake assuming you (and others) understood a signed commentary constitutes the author's (editor's in this case) personal opinion.  As for "clickbait", I tend to reserve that appellation for content that requires one to click through multiple pages to get the full advertised list of whatever. That is not the case with this CNN article - it's all pretty much on one web page.

How sad I have to school you on such things.
