How didn't Comey do his job?

I didn't say he didn't.

I'm asking what it is you expected someone to write about themselves.  Did you expect to open to a chapter somewhere entitled "In All Honesty, I'm A Real Shitbird."

And no, I'm not calling Comey a shitbird.

What did you think of Jennifer Palmieri, Obama's communications director and Hillary's campaign communication director's characterization of what you call Comey being "instrumental in getting our anti-terrorism tactics back within the parameters of the law, despite great pressure from the Cheney crowd."

He was a Republican who had credibility with Democrats for famously standing up to President George W. Bush’s staff when they made a surprise hospital visit in an attempt to get an ailing Attorney General John Ashcroft to approve a domestic surveillance program the Department of Justice believed to be unlawful. Comey was the deputy attorney general at the time, and I respected his willingness to stand up to the White House in defense of the law and his boss. But it made me uneasy that he made sure the press knew all about his heroic stand. In my experience, officials like that have a hard time staying in his or her lane and out of the spotlight.

I Was a Top Clinton Aide. Here’s What I Think About Comey’s Book.

Meh, Comey was not a politician and should have just STFU and did his job. He tested the waters of "celebrity FBI guy" and was hated by both parties for doing so. He knew better but seemed to want the spotlight. :/

I know.  As I said, why is a criminal in the White House?  When everyone you associate with is shady, then what does that make you.  I feel like Tony Soprano is living in the White House and his mafia is running this country with the help of Russian oligarchs

Yes, I heard about this. Just goes to show McLame’s true loyalties. Hopefully, I will go to his funeral very, very soon.

Y'all gonna tempt me to flip 100 pages ahead to the part where Trump reminds Comey of a mob boss and demands respect.

Which might spoil the happy ending.
