I think so.

He is the complete package. He can do more things than Michael Jordan ever could, and is more team oriented. He is just amazing.

He's not even in the top ten of all time in my book but then I'm twice your age AND I highly disagree with you on him being a team player Lebron is all about Lebron he's an attention whore PLUS the biggest Racist in the NBA. Lebron is a coddled primadona who's allowed to foul other players and they should write a song called Lebrons travelling show. As for being better than Michael Jordan Lebron couldn't even carry Jordan's jock strap. Just my honest opinion.

Jordan is a better scorer than LeBron.

But LeBron is a better passer.

He’s also a better rebounder.

He even shoots thee-point gipoals better.

Plus, LeBron doesn’t punch his teammates in practice.

Jordan was just a all around better human being in my opinion.

I doubt that. But even if he were, i’m talking about basketball ability.

I think so.

I'll say that I believe that Lebron is the most talented basketball player to ever live. He is the complete package both physically and in terms of skill. He is an exceptional talent.

I agree wholeheartedly.

Quote:
Lebron, in my opinion, wants none of that. He controls the coaches, and he dictates everything on whatever team he's on. Sure, in some ways it has worked. But in other ways it hasn't, because he won't buy into a system, which makes developing a system for everybody else on the team a useless endeavor.

This is a really interesting and insightful take. I think you have a great point there. I can't argue that LeBron basically runs the team. He does.

Quote:
Because of his individual talent, Lebron makes any team an immediate contender. But Jordan, in my opinion, was a better leader... And a better teammate. Harsh, by all accounts, but willing to buy in to somebody else's plan for the team.

I still get the feeling that players would rather play with LeBron because he shares the ball. And he doesn't throw his teammates under the bus (like he could have last night with JR Smith). Teammates seem to like him. Jordan punched his teammates in practices.

Whoa. Somehow, my whole post was erased. And then Jasmine's response to me looks as though I'm responding to Jasmine. Very strange occurrence.

I don't know.

No doubt Jordan was a real jerk to his teammates at times. It is well documented.

But it was all about demanding excellence.

Look at some of the guys who couldn't wait to stop playing with Lebron. Irving and Isaiah Thomas spring to mind. High caliber players. Lebron does not want anybody to even think about doing anything but catering to his greatness.

Guys like Kevin Love are ok with it. Love is a great talent but he's more than ok being sort of a supporting cast guy. Wade and Bosh got by only because they are very close with Lebron. Irving demanded to be traded away from a team that everybody knew was going to keep going back to the finals.

Why?

Because Irving didn't think that he could rise up so long as he played in the domineering shadow of Lebron James.

Make no mistake, as a Cleveland fan, I'm really glad that Lebron has played basketball in Cleveland. No Championship without him. But if I look at him objectively, in the context of sports in general, I see a guy who is perhaps the greatest talent in the sport's history, but missing components of being a teammate and a leader.
