He has been saying this for a long time now

States decide their Pot laws

Why some Libertarians having a wet dream of late over Trumps pot stance?

Because he's saying it as a sitting president, which is of note.

And he's saying it despite putting Sessions in as the Attorney General, which some feared was a flip-flop on his earlier statements.

This wouldn't be the first time a person makes statements about a certain topic and then changes their tune once in office. It wouldn't be the first time this month that Trump has done so.

It is still possible to be a good Bull chitter even as a sitting Prez would you not agree? Wink

Yes, yes.

He's also said he was going to do some things, and then actually did them.

Some I've been ok with, some not.

But he's followed through on some things, no?

So I'm hopeful, as are likely all libertarians and plenty of others, that this is one of those things that he follows through on.

Not all that difficult.

I know you don't want anything to be pro-Trump, but I try to look at these things relatively objectively. Just as I was pro-Obama's decisions regarding Iran and Cuba, and against Trump's decision on Iran.

Yes, but like ending DACA for example wasn't really ending DACA

Or that he would be up for a better deal on that Paris accord agreement? Wink Shocked

What about the corporate tax cut?

Pulling out of the Iran deal?

Again, whether I support those things are not (yes to the former, no to the latter), they are actually a fulfillment of things he said he wanted to do.

So again, the hope is that he will back up his words with action (as much as he can as the President) to lift the federal ban on marijuana. Whether or not he will is obviously an unknown.

Relax a bit.

Because decriminalizing it at the federal level would release the bonds on the nation.  There is a reason most pot growers and shops that sell state legal pot deal in a cash only business.

If Obama had made this announcement I believe you would have a very different view.

Oh for f***'s sake. The corporate tax rate was higher, and now it's much lower. Trump is very flawed and, so far, I consider him a terrible president.

But he's not a god. He's not a "Magical President". He can't set the tax rate to 0% on his own. The ****ing tax rate is lower, as he said he would make it.

You're impossible.

There's literally nothing he could do, then. Just admit that.

If he accomplished something, you'd just whine that "he could have done it sooner!"

That's fine, but don't expect anybody to try to have an objective conversation with you, as your bias is too transparent and too strong.
