Not sure how North Korea posturing after the meeting equals failure or anyone getting played. Pompeo is describing the meetings as "productive." This is simply part of the negotiating process: both sides engaging in a public campaign while seeking to define the terms of any agreement.

Remember, not too long ago, everything was Butterflies & Bullfrogs with NK.

It doesn't matter what the U.S. representation says, All eyes are on NK. The "ball" is in NK court.

But, I do feel that what might end up happening is what you posted before. A kind of "watered down" version of U.S. goals .  Meaning, they get to keep their nuclear weapons with some sort of agreement they will never honor as time ticks by and somehow, the U.S , Trump look like a heroes or something for awhile.

It's all a chess game, but that's hard for libbots who are baffled by checkers to understand.   Grin

Immediate denuclearization was an unrealistic goal at this stage (particularly since there doesn't seem to be any agreement about what denuclearization means), because neither side trusts each other. So, realistic, commonly agreed upon goals need to be set so trust can be established and denuclearization (after everyone agrees what that means) can eventually be achieved - a process that will likely take years (if there is any success) and could outlast Trump's Presidency.

The leftwing cretins would rather have a nuclear war than Trump succeed.

I think you are getting mixed up with the Iran deal and the right hoping it would fail.  Well it didn't fail, but Trump is trying to kill it.  On the other hand, NK and Kim gave Trump nothing and in return for nothing, he killed the military drills.

Yes, I heard about this. Just goes to show McLame’s true loyalties. Hopefully, Trump won’t go to his funeral very, very soon.

AND unlike the fool obama Trump didn't give away billions of dollars to support a terrorist nation like Iran who is still building nuclear weapons.

It's been estimated to be between 29 billion on the low side to 150 billion on the high side so take your pick it's still BILLIONS
