I wonder if President Trump will swing by Noway on his way back from the N  Korea Summit, to pick up his Nobel Peace Prize?  Roll Eyes

Breaking. Looks like inspections will happen in n Korea site. Could be a major trump success for the history books. He’s getting things done.

Too bad the Nobel Prize has lost so much of it's previous luster!  Obama got his for being elected before he did anything!  Trump bringing Peace through Strength is what the Nobel Peace Prize is supposed to be all about!

Looks like China and Russia will be back in the mix...

Moscow speaks of need for five-way international talks to end Korean tensions

MOSCOW (Reuters) - The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Wednesday that Russia, China and North Korea had agreed on the need for five-way talks including the United States and South Korea to end tensions on the Korean peninsula.

Deputy foreign ministers from Russia, North Korea and China had met in Moscow on Tuesday and expressed support for talks in such a format to normalise relations, the ministry said in a statement.

Given our current relations with both those states, that's probably not good news for us and our objectives on the Korean peninsula.

China, Russia, North Korea call for adjusted sanctions ahead of denuclearisation

Chinese, Russian and North Korean deputy foreign ministers have met in Moscow to coordinate a trilateral approach to the denuclearisation process on the Korean peninsula, and called on the UN Security Council to “adjust” the current sanctions regime against Pyongyang.

This is in contrast to the Trump administration’s declaration that tough sanctions would remain on North Korea until its complete denuclearisation...

China’s foreign affairs vice-minister Kong Xuanyou, Russia’s deputy foreign minister Igor Morgulov and North Korea’s foreign vice-minister Choe Son-hui discussed the three countries’ cooperation during the denuclearisation process.

China and Russia supported Pyongyang’s favoured “phased and synchronised measures,” to ensure it receives compensation from the international community during the process, rather than waiting for complete denuclearisation...

Deja vu?

The admitted advantage of non-democratic leaders is their timeline. Two of the three can sit out this administration and the third will before long.
