After the crooked Hillary was going to win in a landslide bullshit I don't believe any polls or talking heads.

You are 100% CORRECT, .. too. -- the liberal news networks and their print media ARE so DAMN corrupt and dishonest, but, .. they NO LONGER have the same influence over the people that they USED to have, and they ARE losing power.

I said not sure at this time.

It's for sure not going to be a Red Tsunami.

But how are we interpreting a "blue wave?"

The Democrats taking 24 seats and the House??  That's not a "wave."  That's an outcome in line with typical historical midterm elections when the party in the White House holds the House.

I really think Democrats go out of their way to emphasize the good and minimize the bad.  And the media and punditry are doing the same thing they did in 2016.  Overemphasizing that behavior.

The RCP generic ballot average has the Democrats up by 8.3 right now as I type this.

But all polls aren't created equal.  Is CNN's poll saying Democrats are up by 10 of the same quality as the Grinnell/Selzer poll that only shows the Democrats up by 2?

I looked into Ann Selzer.  She's a nationally renowned pollster.  In 2016, Nate Silver's 538 was calling her the "Best Pollster in Politics."  That same poll is being reported on as grim news for Trump's chances at reelection yet is only showing the Democrats ahead by 2.

These things give me pause.  Even Nate Silver's site is showing the Republicans with a 1 in 6 chance of holding the House.  Those aren't bad odds. And they change wildly.  Just last week they were at 1 in 4.

We are in no man's land.  Anybody really predicting they know what's going on is basing their predictions on the assumptions of yesterday.  I'm not sure they're still valid.

I'm hedging my bets.  But I am confident the Democrats will take the House at least even if by only 1 seat.  Trump's base is subdued and not exactly in a Rah Rah Trump mood right now.

Take this poll again tomorrow.  Things will probably have changed.

I am glad you created this poll.

This shows that depending on where you are getting your info, the predictions are vastly dissimilar.

I pledge that if the blue wave I am reading about from dozens of sources does not occur, I will acknowledge that my sources are biased and crazy, as you on the Right believe.

But, will you do the same if you are wrong?

I would only go as far as acknowledging they got it right THIS TIME most of the pollsters got it wrong in 2016 saying crooked Hillary would win in a landslide.

I'm not going to let you hide behind that. 2016 was about 1 person, not a wave of people.

What I am saying is that the writing is on the wall. People are pissed at this president, and they want actual change, not unsupported demagogue change. If those like Trump had been voted into the house by the majority on the Right, then Trump's election would have resulted in far more change.

That didn't happen.

Trump got elected, but even within his own camp, there was disgust. Or that's how I read it.

So the question is, do the Republicans also want Trump out.

If yes, then even Republicans will vote against Trump in the midterms, which is exactly the opposite of a Blue Wave. This is NOT what is being advertised in the Right media, which means if things go strongly the opposite way, then the Right media was lying to you.

I just want to know if you would acknowledge that.
