You see my focusing problem friend , it is going down the chitter. Nice and slow that your focusing problem eyes cannot see Wink

Nope, only to those like yourselves with no skills, lazy, and can't compete.

If someone like yourself can't compete against migrant illiterate peasant farmers then it might appear to that person that things are going to shit.  The reality is that you can't accept that you are a failure.

Yep!

Probably.

The difference between us is that I will adapt and overcome and live a good happy life.

You will cry and be a miserable leech on society all because of your own failings at life.

Yes.  You're happy because if you didn't get the scraps you would starve but if you actually tried to do better you could get more than just the scraps, you could probably afford your own meals on a regular basis.

It cracks me up how you don't even realize how much of a POS you look like.

Maybe I should be nicer.  You're probably mentally challenged and incapable of surviving without government assistance.

It's been that way for at least 20 years. I remember the state hitting the fifth largest mark back in the 1990's. However, it's difficult to find those stats on the internet today (I tried and gave up). The state's ranking fell to ninth or tenth during the Great Recession in 2012, but has since rebounded. Over the decades the state's GDP has varied from 10th largest to fifth largest in the world.

The primary economic driver in the state is, predictably, information technology. But real estate, manufacturing, tourism, and other income producing activities also play a major role. IT is notoriously a volatile sector, and correspondingly California's economy is rated as the fifth most volatile in America.

Interestingly, per capita disposable income  has risen steadily (with a slight dip during the Recession) from 1990 to 2017. From under $20,000 to almost $50,000 today. The current per capita income is aboout $58,000.

Interesting that a lot of people who make $50,000 or less are moving out of Calif and people who make $200,000 or more are moving in From New York/Illinois  Wink
