Is Nothing sacred? Battle ground Minnesota?

Minnesota has not voted Republican since Richard Nixon.  President Trump is targeting Minnesota for 2020.  Minnesota only has ten electoral votes, but every little bit helps and ten from the Democrats into the GOP column really helps.  Ten more for Trump means ten less for whichever Socialist/Marxist runs against him.

Trump lost Minnesota by only 45,000 votes in 216.

Will Ilhan Omar have the juice or will voter of Minnesota still believe in America First. like their parents and grandparents did?

Trump will not win in New York (where AOC is from) but he almost won in Minnesota last time.  Ilhan Omar did not campaign as the Far Left anti -American radical she has proven to be.  Minnesota could become the newest battleground state because Soros and the Far Left will pour a lot of resources into it.  However, Minnesota is part of the heartland and is by no means either New York or California!

You all keep dreaming of a DT success in 2020. Let it make you complacent. Forget that the Dems retook the House last year, largely in reaction to DT's horrible administration.

Keep on keeping on the DT Train. It's our best hope to start the healing process.

President Trump was not on the ballot in the midterms.  He campaigned principally for Senate races and we gained seats in the Senate.  The GOP had 45 Retirements which  left no incumbents to defend these districts and they were up for grabs.  Nonetheless, the GOP lost less than Obama or George Bush did in their first midterm.

Um,  you gained all of two seats in the Senate.

The Dems scored a record number of victories in the House which gives them a comfortable majority.

Unlike 2016, where three times as many Dem seats were up for grabs, twice as many R seats were up for grabs in 2018. In 2020, the turnover again will favor the Dems in the House.

But to say DT did not influence the midterms is sophistry . Of course he did. And it's looking like he will lead his party to deeper losses in 2020.
