Nation’s strictest legislation would ban all abortions at any stage of pregnancy, and backers hope it will fuel a challenge to Roe v Wad

Now that is funny, Alabama is the third poorest state in this country. Median Income: $46,472. Unemployment Rate: 7.4% Poverty Rate: 18.0%.  Maternal Mortality Is Rising in the U.S. As It Declines Elsewhere.  That is because lack of pre-natal care for the uninsured.

According to the Alabama Department of Public Health the state’s infant mortality rate of 9.1 infant deaths per 1,000 live births in 2016 is the highest since 2008. This represents the deaths of 537 infants who did not reach 1 year of age. There were 59,090 live births in 2016.  The mortality rate of 11.0  maternal deaths per 1000.

Alabama needs to be more concerned about the health of the pregnant mother than who is getting an abortion.  BTW, who is going to take care of all these unwanted children in Alabama once they are born?  Cerntainly not Alabama?

They work harder, improve their income, and/or spend less money until they have the means to save.
