It isn't a myth: https://www.oann.com/

The live video on the right side says we are over $121b for the year.

When I say these claims are myths, this is exactly the kind of stuff I am talking about.

Honestly, statistics are almost like a black art they are so easily manipulated and/or misleading.

Sure a modern 3rd world slum dweller may actually be wealthier than their ancestors. They may even have a smart phone. But is their overall standard of life any better?

You know there was just an editorial in one of the papers here the other day that mentioned how misleading statistics can be in measuring the quality of life of Filipinos.

I can only answer that they seem to think it is. People do have a choice of working in the rice paddies or working in a factory in Shenzhen. And most seem to want to escape rural life and move to the city.

The same story has played out in the US, not to mention India.

You are going to have to explain. There are multiple studies that support that there is a direct cost to illegal immigration.

Look at the source of the data. It comes from the Center For Immigration Studies.

Google that outfit and you'll find many articles ripping apart their methods and exposing their anti-immigrant bias.

Which also ignore the overall benefits of population growth.

"Watched it.  A shotgun is for long ranged shooting.  That is why hunters like them.  An AR-15 is not.  That video was misleading.
