What is the cost of lies? It's not that we'll mistake them for the truth. The real danger is that if we hear enough lies, then we no longer recognize the truth at all. What can we do then? What else is left but to abandon the hope of truth and content ourselves instead with stories. In these stories it doesn't matter who the heroes are. All we want to know is who is to blame. - V. Legasov

Did you watch today's episode of "Smackdown"? It was horrible. Seriously, the WWE is really stinking up the place lately.

And now they have serious competition.

Exactly. You'd think they'd step up their game, but so far, nothing. They're just getting worse.

I kinda hate to say this, but it's possible that the wrestling world has passed Vince McMahon by.

It's frustrating to see the WWE be so lazy these days. It's like they're not even trying.

Maybe it's just me, though. What do you think, Ulysses?

The WWE is corporate first, wrestling second. AEW is putting the wrestling first. The fans loved it.

You're likely right. That would explain their half-ass show in Saudi Arabia and their willingness to take all the criticism for it.

Well I think they are at a point where they can absorb criticism due to their size and dominance but it's also made them complacent. An upstart like AEW can easily take them down a notch, drop they PPV buy rates and hurt their stocks.

Supremely irrelevant.

Just like you.

Zero.

Well, now that you two  have decided to derail this thread, I guess I'll have to re-post it.
