History Repeats Itself

We are proud to announce the publishing of the sequel to “Snug Harbor Tavern: Shaggin’ for a Shillin’”. It is titled “The Seeds of Love…and War: Still Shaggin’ for a Shillin’”. It is the story of Patriots and Prostitutes in colonial Boston, based on the fact that John Hancock had a tawdry affair with a bordello owner named Griffith.

The story is significant because the characters are mired in a struggle against a tyrannical government. Bartenders, strumpets, ropemakers, sailors, candle-makers and merchants are all profoundly affected. When the redcoats arrive, the fun begins. What happens at the Snug Harbor Tavern stays at the Snug Harbor Tavern.
