And Americans Still Don’t Approve of Obama

January 1st, 2010

Obama started off the year with an approval rating of 61%. Both Bushs’ approval ratings were higher with George W at 90% and  George H W with 89%. Considering Obama was swept into office on the wind of change, it would have been thought that the wind would have tossed his approval ratings close to what the Bush’s had gained.

But even the Economist is showing Obama’s poll numbers below 50%, in fact at 45% and they’re the ones who have been holding off on the low numbers compared to other pollsters.

But at least Obama, thus far, is not in the company of those with the lowest numbers of some presidents like Truman at 23%. George H. W. Bush eventually sank to 29%. Carter hit 28%, and Nixon was at 24% before he resigned.(Yahoo) Obama still has a way to tumble and tumble he will.

Americans Still Don’t Want Obamacare

January 1st, 2010

Lest you think the national security issues have shrouded the issue of National Healthcare, Rasmussen‘s latest polls show that 58% of American voters do NOT want Obamacare. So why, when the support is so low, do the Democrats and Obama still want to shove this down our throats? What other peice of legislation has ever been thrust upon us with such opposition apparent?

Obama’s Iron Curtin

January 1st, 2010

In the past few months there has been several security breaches yet the Obama White House has refused to address the issues or been lax in dealing with them. These are the charges being made by NY’s  Rep. Peter King, who is the leading Republican on the House Homeland Committee.

The Obama administration’s handling of the Christmas Day terror plot has been “schizophrenic” says King. “It’s reflective of their handling of other incidents. They still haven’t given us any information on Fort Hood. Even with the gate crashers, they’ve refused to give us on information on communications between the White House social secretary and the Secret Service. They’re giving us nothing and Democrats in Congress are very reluctant to have any meaningful investigations.” Politics, not national security, is driving these decisions, says King. “They’re holding back because they don’t want to share embarrassing material.” National Review

King blames political correctness on these Home Land Security problems but I can’t agree. I feel that the Obama administration is still in the mental warp that terrorism doesn’t exist in the sense of  evil vs the United States, but that it’s still on the level of common everyday crime and to be treated as such.

As of this posting, Obama is still on vacation in Hawaii and his handlers are trying to paint him as a president who can balance handling national security problems with a vacation.

Obama still isn’t seeing the seriousness of the problems that have been happening as of late. He tossed off the security breach at the White House. Yet, if an attack occurred at the White House, he’d be tossing blame, but by then it could be too late.

If the attack on Christmas has accomplished it’s goal, Obama would have been blaming the Bush administration for the intelligence failure. Yet now, with his lack of resolute, he’ll be considered complicit if any serious attack on our nation happens in the coming year.

Obama needs to deal with the breach of security at the White House. Let’s be honest. He knew the Salahi’s and  their background would not allowed them to be in attendence at the reception.

Obama needs to be more helpful when it comes to dealing with the murder at Fort Hood. Information that came out clearly shows the man is a terrorist and not just some disgruntled employee on a rampage of revenge. The Major had been influenced by radical Islamic teachings and created his own Jihad. Obama needs to face that so that the military can start going through their own ranks (and yes, profile) those who might be another risk to our soldiers in uniform.

Obama also has to stop using the word “alleged” when it comes to the attack on Flight 253. As Representative King said, “Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab was an Islamic terrorist, not an isolated extremist.”" And until Obama gets his head out of the sand, we are in danger of another attack occuring.

There again, Obama’s head is not in the sand at all. I truly feel his goal is the destruction of this country from within as well as without. EVERY step he’s made only has lead to the weakening of our economy as well as the weakening of our national defense and security.

Wake up, America! We have a serious problem!

Did Obama Violate an Executive Order?

January 1st, 2010

Back in 2007 we captured two very dangerous men, Qayis Khazali and his brother, Layith Khazali.  These two were part of an Iranian backed Shia terror group behind the kidnapping and murder of five US soldiers in Karbala in January 2007.

Yes, they were very dangerous men and should have remained in prison at the very least, but preferably executed. But instead we released them. We released them in exchange for the release of British hostage Peter Moore.

I understand wanting the release of a western hostage but when did we get into the business of prisoner exchange?

The US military has maintained that the release of members and leaders of the League of the Righteous is related to a reconciliation agreement between the terror group and the Iraqi government, but some US military officers disagree.

“The official line is the release of Qazali is about reconciliation, but in reality this was a prisoner swap,” a military intelligence official said. Longwar Journal

And most importantly, why was it done since it’s very apparent that it violated an executive order signed by President Ronald Reagan. And this wasn’t even an isolated incident.

As of mid-October, the US had released more than 100 members of the League of the Righteous. The US has also released several senior Qods Force officers, including Mahmud Farhadi, the leader of the Zafr Command, one of three units subordinate to the Qods Force’s Ramazan Corps. Farhadi was among five Iranians turned over to the Iraqi government and then subsequently turned over to the Iranians in July

This is in clear violation of Reagan’s executive order:

On January 20, 1986, President Ronald Reagan issued National Security Decision Directive Number 207, which prohibits negotiations with terrorist organizations regarding the release of hostages. The Directive sets forth in unequivocal terms the United States’ “firm opposition to terrorism in all its forms” and makes clear the government’s “conviction that to accede to terrorist demands places more American citizens at risk. This no-concessions policy is the best way of protecting the greatest number of people and ensuring their safety.” The Directive continues to say: “The [United States government] will pay no ransoms, nor permit releases of prisoners or agree to other conditions that could serve to encourage additional terrorism. We will make no changes in our policy because of terrorist threats or acts.” This policy is further articulated in Department of State Publication 10217, which makes clear the United States “will not support the freeing of prisoners from incarceration in response to terrorist demands.” Weekly Standard

In July Senators Jeff Sessions and John Kyl sent a letter  to Obama stating that the prisoner exchanges violated the executive order and as of this posting, Obama has not responded to the questions asked.

And sadly this has been going on under the cloak of darkness or the MSM has been ignoring the violations of the man. Well, this year we’re going to make sure everyone knows every move that this Marxist president is doing in order to destroy our national security. That is OUR PROMISE to conservatives.

Suicide Bomber Kills 7 CIA Agents and Obama is Silent

December 31st, 2009

Where’s the outrage?

KABUL (Reuters) – A suicide bomber penetrated a base used by the CIA in Afghanistan and killed seven officers from the U.S. intelligence agency, the second deadliest attack in CIA history and its worst in the eight-year-old Afghan war. Yahoo

And where is Barack Obama? Dashing in the waves of Hanama Bay still on vacation. And he never moved a muscle when the attempted bombing of the Northwest airline on Christmas Day. It took him three days to respond even to that.

It’s becoming more than evident that Obama doesn’t see that we are at war with Islamic terrorism. Besides sugar-coating the name (man made catastrophy), he still persists on treating terrorism as if it were common thuggery that occurs in the streets of Chicago.

This man is a threat to national security. When are people going to wake up?

[UPDATE] Obama came through in support of the CIA. He took his busy time on the beach of Hawaii to write a letter of condolences to the CIA itself. Man, what a guy!

The Crashers with Connections?

December 31st, 2009

Do you remember a few weeks ago the story about the two White House crashers who swept by security and found themselves hobbnobbing with Obama and other people at the state function?

Yeah, that’s them. Remember all the hoopla how they just crashed the party and no one knew them? Well, that’s just not quite the case.

I want you to look at the next photo.

Yup, there’s Obama in the middle. Can’t miss him, now can ya. Then the guy in the white suit? That’s Tareq Salahi and the lovely lady in white on the extreme right? That’s Michaele Salahi. OK, picture taken at the White House party, right? You couldn’t be more wrong. This photo was taken at some party for Obama when he was Senator. This was taken at a “Rock The Vote” event on June 9, 2005

Say what? You thought Obama didn’t know the Salahis? And he forgot to mention that? And meanwhile heads are rolling over at the Secret Service? And get this, the gatecrashing Salahi’s and Obama have known each other for at least five years! – it always seems to go back to Chicago, doesn’t it?

Oh, but it gets even better! Did anyone even bother to find out who Tareq Salahi is? First of all, the name is not actually western, is it?

In addition, and ominously, it turns out that Tareq Salahi, the polo-playing intruder, is a Palestinian nationalist with ties to the American Task Force on Palestine (ATFP) , a pro-Palestine lobby demanding the “right of return” for all Palestinian refugees and their descendants. The “right of return” has long been considered the backdoor to Israel’s destruction. But not only that: ATFP President Ziad Asali is an America-basher who blamed 9/11 on U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East. Asali was a lead U.S. official to PLO terrorist Yassir Arafat’s funeral in 2004. And in a position paper in 2007, the ATFP called for a power-sharing agreement at the Palestinian Authority, which would have included the State Department’s designated-terrorist group, Hamas.

The ATFP has ties to Chicago, ties to Muslim radicals, ties to Hamas, and ties to Saudi Wahhabists. It is arguably the American wing of Hamas. The group’s co-founder is Rashid Khalidi, the guy purported to have helped finance Obama’s Harvard education and who was also instrumental in getting Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to speak at Columbia University.

But this is no biggie, right? Obama’s connections list keeps getting longer and longer, now doesn’t it?

What’s the Difference Between the Two Speeches?

December 29th, 2009

On September 11, 2001 President Bush got up on the podium and talked to America saying…

On December 28, 2009 Barack Obama got up in the news conference and talked to America saying….

What are the differences between the two speeches?

1. a) George Bush’s speech showed compassion and emotion regarding the attack

     b) Barack Obama’s speech lacked emotion and spoke as if he had just bogied his golf game

2. a) George Bush directly called the attackers terrorists and the act perpetrated as terrorism

     b) Barack Obama talked about an “alleged” attack

3. a) George Bush invoked God and even offered up a consoling Bible verse

     b) Barack Obama forgot about God

4. a) George Bush made the speech to America on the same day as attack

     b) Barack Obama waited until 3 days later to “assure” Americans of our safety

5. a) George Bush called the attackers “terrorists”

     b) Barack Obama didn’t want to come to conclusions (until the next day)

6. a) George Bush wore a complete suit, showing himself as being presidential

     b) Barack Obama didn’t feel the occasion deserved a tie

7. a) George Bush took the time to ONLY talk about the attack

     b) Barack Obama also used the time to talk about the demonstrations in Iran, thus decreasing the importance of the attempted bombing

8. a) Bush never blamed Clinton for not grabbing bin Laden when he had the chance

     b) Obama blamed Bush for the “system failure.”

OOPS!

December 29th, 2009

It’s so great to know that art therapy worked in rehabilitating two terrorists who were guests of Camp Gitmo.

Oh wait, did you say they haven’t been rehabiliated after all?

Two of the four leaders allegedly behind the al Qaeda plot to blow up a Northwest Airlines passenger jet over Detroit were released by the U.S. from the Guantanamo prison in November, 2007, according to American officials and Department of Defense documents. American officials agreed to send the two terrorists to Saudi Arabia where they entered into an “art therapy rehabilitation program” and were set free, according to U.S. and Saudi officials.   Washington Examiner

It’s so great to see that our system works…..
