I am married to a wonderful woman and we are expecting our first child next year. I studied economics at the University of Houston and recently quit my job at a marketing company to work from home. I am interested in practical solutions for decentralizing decision-making. The ultimate goal is to promote the replacement of the legacy monopoly institutions we currently have with emergent and horizontal forms of association. Buckminster Fuller’s quote strikes me as spot on: “You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.”
