Do you look sexy with it, R2?

I don't look sexy with it or without it.  But my wife loves me anyway.  Life is good. Cheesy

How can you people take a high level conversation such as this and drag it down to the level of droopy boobs? Angry

Actually, now we're on the topic of whether or not R2 is sexy with his beard.  This is high minded stuff.

5) In regard to small arms and light weapons, this is the language from the Millennium Declaration: “To take concerted action to end illicit traffic in small arms and light weapons, especially by making arms transfers more transparent and supporting regional disarmament measures, taking account of all the recommendations of the forthcoming United Nations Conference on Illicit Trade in Small Arms and Light Weapons.” This solely addresses the black market in small arms. The same black market which is providing arms to the terrorists and insurgents our troops are fighting against or helping to fight against in Iraq, Afghanistan, the Philippines, and elsewhere around the world. There is nothing, absolutely nothing, calling for banning small arms and light weapons.
That would depend on your definition of "illicit traffic" in small arms. You do realize that the UN is in favor of banning small arms for everyone but it's member nations support troops right? No shotgun for you, no AK for akbar, same same to them.

You were the same person making up things about the Iranian nuclear facilities and tactical nuclear weapons. Not quite batting 1000 there are you...

Making up that Iran has a declared nuclear weapons program?
Quote:
With war in Iraq looming and North Korea defiantly pursuing its own nuclear program, the last thing President Bush needs is another nuclear crisis. But that is what he may soon face in Iran. On a visit last month to Tehran, International Atomic Energy Agency director Mohamed ElBaradei announced he had discovered that Iran was constructing a facility to enrich uranium — a key component of advanced nuclear weapons — near Natanz. But diplomatic sources tell TIME the plant is much further along than previously revealed. The sources say work on the plant is "extremely advanced" and involves "hundreds" of gas centrifuges ready to produce enriched uranium and "the parts for a thousand others ready to be assembled."

Find a more leftist source than Time.

Tell it to William Calley.

I think My Lai was probably outside the rules of engagement in any war.  And they probably didn't have to be told the rules of engagement to know it was just wrong.  The AMERICAN in the helicopter who threatened to turn his guns on them (that finally stopped the slaughter) certainly knew it was wrong.  So, probably, they should have figured it out.

Hello, all.  Don't know if you'll remember me, but I'm the former "Razamachaz."  I'm a left-of-center moderate, defender of the oppressed, supporter of Obama and confounder of Horse Lady.  Took a break for awhile, but am glad to be back.  Let the games begin!

Hey!  We were just talking about you the other day...!

Welcome back.

, in fact, interested in an honest representation of policy issues.

I would suggest simply deleting the thread altogether.

Just Africans, huh?

Don't forget trading food for sex with children who are starving....
Obama wants to continue the destruction of our soveriegnity.

They are not participating in mass murder. I assume they are following the rules of engagement. That would be legal.

You're right, Berg! How could I be so blind!? We should prosecute all those in our military for participating in mass murder.
