More Americans prefer "Merry Christmas" greeting.

In the cultural battle over whether to use the seasonal greeting "Happy Holidays" or "Merry Christmas".

About 69% said they prefer "Merry Christmas", about 12% said "Happy Holidays" and about 3% said "bah humbug".

Well, I voted for Merry Christmas greeting. ;) So, what about you guys and gals too? :santa:

Merry Christmas is the greeting I've used all of my life, and Merry Christmas is the greeting I am going to use until the day I die.

MERRY CHRISTMAS, and HAPPY NEW YEAR.

I prefer Merry Christmas myself. However, I'm not bothered by someone saying Happy Holidays or Seasons Greetings. If they say bah humbug then I just laugh! :D

Personally I think Happy Holidays should mean ALL Holidays. Not just the ones in December. XP

I like that idea!

Christmas isn't Halloween. Halloween's a cool holiday but we have to respect each holiday for it's own unique splender!

I certainly agree with that Demon Slayer. I'll even go as far as to say that I actualy prefer Halloween to Christmas, BUT being the staunch, die-hard traditionalist that I am, I like to celebrate Hallowen in October and Christmas in December.
