there's just sumpin about VHSes that says home to me. i don't know why
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

Me neither. I'm waiting for HVD to hit the market.

Speaking of Frankenstein, I've got the legacy collection on DVD. Think I'm gonna turn the lights off and pop those in.

we just recently got a 40" Samsung LCD and a Samsung BluRay player so we rent everything in bluRay and I have bought all my new discs in BR....I love the BR image but I dont mind DVD either.

....
I assume the Samsung upsamples the DVDs so they'd look better anyway. There's only one reason I'd get a blu-ray player. If my DVD player ever bites it and it looks like DVDs are going the way of the Dodo, I'd get one just so I can continue playing my DVD disks 10 years from now. I can't remember if HVD players are gonna support DVD.

yes, it upconverts DVDs to 1080......some DVDs look better then others and some older movies on BluRay look about the same as DVDs, I was surprised how good Halloween looked on BR as old as it is.

:twisted: i created a photo album on myspace for my 2009 halloween window display: http://tinyurl.com/ycnvops :twisted: the skull has a small strobe light underneath, causing it to flash, but the photos don't pick up that cool special effect :cry: also, there is a string of orange lights all around the window edge that are barely visible in the photos :evil: enjoy :D
