Happy Mother's Day!
To all you mums out there, thanks for what you do! Like, giving us life and stuff. I hope all the Forum mums' kids take good care of y'all today. Flowers and dinners and prezzies and whatnots. On behalf of all the ungrateful children out there, I wanna say that I know it doesn't make up for the other three hundred sixty four when everything you do goes largely unappreciated, but I hope you know how much we really do love you, and how grateful we truly are, once we stop and think about it.
Big ups to you, Mums!!!

You're either trying to impress someone or your mum reads your posts.

Well, that's a nice post Mac! Sorry I wasn't around here all day, so I would like to say "Happy Belated Mother's Day!"
By the way, I gave my mom some homemade chocolate chip cookies, a large of pound cake and a KY lube! She laughed!

Re: Happy Mother's Day!
Thanks for the good wishes, Mac & iHaunt. We did kind of a low-key Mother's Day. Actually celebrated on Saturday. Ate out at (my husband's) favorite Chinese restaurant, then saw the movie Thor (again my husband's first choice, though I enjoyed it, too). I didn't protest because, well, I enjoy going out and being with my family, and I don't really care that much where we eat or what we see.
There was one time, many years ago, when my husband gave me a firearm for Mother's Day. So for Father's Day, I gave him a bread machine.
