Well, your birthday is in November, and there is often bad weather in November. Was there ice on the roads?

No ice. My front right tire got caught in the loose snow instead of the tracks made by traffic. And that sent me spinning.

Snow, ice--it's all the same to me! Having spent my whole life in the South, I am not too familiar with the mysteries of driving in wintry weather.
